Hey, I just found your podcast and really enjoy it.
I know a lot of Marvel and DC comics info is out there on the internet, and a lot of geeks take for granted that every fan knows everything about them. Well, I don't, and wouldn't want to be spoiled on future characters and plotlines.
For instance, let's say someone appears in a episode of Daredevil and they are obscured in shadow. Fans would say, "Oh, that's (TOUGH GUY NAME GOES HERE) and I can't wait until we see him fight Daredevil."
That's a dumb example but I think you get the point. This is why I wasn't able to listen to any Gotham podcasts. Most of the people who do podcasts based on comics characters are huge fans so they seem to assume everyone else is too. That ends up revealing too much information sometimes.
So basically, are you trying to keep the podcast spoiler free for people who haven't read the comic?
Jeez. I could've just asked that instead of all this babbling.
Yep! We're rolling spoiler-free. I (Matt) am watching as we go; Pete has seen the entire season at this point but doesn't ruin anything. Like a lot of our MCU podcasts, we have read some of the comics and have a familiarity with them, but we're coming at it from the TV/film angle!
